Requirements & Expectations
We work in sensitive health and community settings. Volunteers are expected to meet the following basic requirements and commitments.
Eligibility
We welcome anyone aged 18 or older with a genuine interest in health and community work. You must be respectful, reliable, and able to engage responsibly with underserved communities.
Commitment
You will be expected to commit for an agreed period, attend required training, and reliably participate in assigned activities.
Conduct & Values
Volunteers are expected to act ethically and treat community members with dignity and respect. Follow our code of conduct and the guidance of your team lead at all times.
What to Expect
Every volunteer goes through onboarding that covers our mission, your role, and relevant skills. Ongoing support and mentorship continue throughout your assignment.
What happens after my commitment ends?
We stay in touch. Many volunteers transition to extended roles or advisory positions. You'll always be part of our network and invited to key events and updates.
